Data deletion instructions

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. Here's how, whether you use AICustomerPilot for your business or you messaged a business that uses it.

If you use AICustomerPilot for your business

1. Delete contacts and their chats: on the Customers page, tick them and choose Delete. All their chats on every channel are deleted too.
2. Delete a single email chat: open it in your Inbox, press ⋯ and choose Delete email.
3. Disconnect a channel: on the Channels page, press Remove next to the WhatsApp number, Instagram account or inbox. Its access token is deleted straight away and we stop receiving its messages.
4. Delete your whole account: email hello@aicustomerpilot.com from your account's email address with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm by email, then delete everything.

If you messaged a business that uses AICustomerPilot

Your messages belong to that business, so the quickest way is to ask the business. You can also email hello@aicustomerpilot.com with:

• the phone number, email address or Instagram username you used;
• the business you messaged, if you know it.

We'll delete your data, or pass your request to the business and make sure it's handled, and confirm by email.

Remove access in Facebook or Instagram

If you connected AICustomerPilot through Facebook or Instagram, you can also remove it there:

• Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → find AICustomerPilot → Remove.
• Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → find AICustomerPilot → Remove.
• WhatsApp Business: in Meta Business Suite, Business settings → Integrations → Connected apps, or remove the system user's access to your WhatsApp account.

Removing access stops new data reaching us. To delete what we already have, follow the steps above as well.

What gets deleted, and when

• Chats, contacts, notes, files, channel connections and account details are deleted within 30 days of a confirmed request, and from backups within 90 days.
• We keep only what the law requires, such as invoices for tax records.
